This week, we were investigating the pattern of severe storm based on sum of death toll. Following are some of our plots we have made:
The darkness of the color represents the severity of death caused by storm events. It is clearly that the west regions have a larger number of deaths and the northern part has a less amount of deaths.
This graph shows the severity measured by magnitude of the storm by state. From the graph, we can see that Pennsylvania, texas, and new york are the three states with the most severe storms.
